Two versions were released of these tracks were released, a full explicit version, and also an edited clean version. On the day that the physical CD of DMX’s Exodus was released, a special collection of Acapella versions and instrumental versions of many of the songs from the album were released digitally to help promote the album. More information about the collaboration and how it came about are available in the main album entry. The album was finally released in a physical format on Augwhen it was issued on CD. The album featured a collaboration between DMX and Bono, titled “Skyscrapers.” That song was available in both explicit and clean versions due to profanity on the song lyrics delivered by DMX. The posthumously released DMX album, Exodus was initially released on May 28 in digital only format.
